Music can provide a lot of benefits to individuals and enhance their quality of life. Music can help you achieve a high level of relaxation and peace after day stress.

Music therapy involves listening to songs, playing musical instruments, or singing as a way of improving the wellness of an individual. Psychiatrists and physicians recommend music therapy as a treatment for a wide range of problems or special needs.



1. Child development: Music therapy provides a unique experience in a child’s development process. It can affect a child’s behavioral changes, contributes to the development of a child’s communication skills, social, and cognitive skills.

2. Emotional growth: Music can help you improve your emotional level by listening to the lyrics of a particular song. When listening to a song you love, can positively impact your feelings.

3. Improve symptoms of depression: Music can be recommended as a way to treat depression conditions. Listening to music can improve your mood, reduce your blood pressure as well as lower your respiratory rate. This helps you reduce the symptoms of depression and other mood disorders.

7. Emotional flooding: Music can trigger powerful emotions and sometimes you may end up crying at the end of the song.

8. Overstimulation: If a therapist is not careful about the sound stimulus created to support an infant’s ability to thrive, it may result in overstimulation and this creates distress on the child.
